RS adjourned briefly after uproar on Gujarat Guv issue

As soon as the House met for the day, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi (BJP) was on his feet saying his party has given a notice for suspension of Question Hour to discuss the issue.

"This is a very serious issue," he said as other members of his party joined him in raising the issue vociferously.

Chairman Hamid Ansari, however, ruled out suspension of the Question Hour and took up the first listed question.

BJP members were, however, unrelenting and continued to raise the issue.

Ansari then adjourned the House for 15 minutes.
