Rs two lakh worth ganja seized, two arrested

: Ten kgs of ganja valued at Rs two lakh was seized today from two persons at Feroke old bridge near here, police said.

The ganja was detected during a raid, during which a weighing machine was also seized.

C Nasar (32) and P T Abinash (31), both hailing from Payyanakkal in the city, were arrested. The duo had bought the narcotic from Tamil Nadu and were planning to sell them in small packets

The duo were later produced before the Narcotics Control Board court here, police said.
