S.Rly's profit up by 15 per cent: GM

Southern Railway's profit this year had risen by 15 per cent over the previous year, its General Manager A K Agarwal today said.

Talking to reporters here, he said the Salem Division earned 33 per cent more revenue.

The official, however, declined to divulge further details.

Earlier, he declared open various passenger amenities including reservation centre, ticket counter and VIPs restroom.
