Jammu and Kashmir State Accountability Commission (SAC) chairman justice (retd) Bashir Ahmad Khan today asked officers to work with honesty for the welfare of public and development and prosperity of the State.
Justice Khan said this while interacting with Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS) probationers at Institute of Management and Public Administration (IMPA) here, a spokesman said.
He said justice Khan threw light on the functioning and role of the SAC, saying accountability is foremost in efficient and transparent functioning of the government.
The SAC chairman advised public functionaries to use authority and power in total transparent and judicious manner.
