Singer Sam Smith will join the likes of Beyonce,Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea among others to perform at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.
Smith, 22, will be making his debut at the music awards function by being the final performer at the ceremony to be held in California on August 24, reported Ace Showbiz.
"I have watched the VMAs every year since I was a kid. I am so insanely nervous but also so honoured to be performing. This truly is a pinch yourself moment for me," the singer said.
Smith's 'Stay With Me' has earned him two nominations at the music awards--Best Male Music Video award and MTV Artist to Watch award.
Artistes like 5 Seconds of Summer, Maroon 5, Usher and Nicki Minaj will also perform at the ceremony.
