After playing a character obsessed with footwear in 'Sex and the City', actress Sarah Jessica Parker is all set to launch her own shoe range.
"In a silly way, I think it's what people have expected of me most because of Carrie Bradshaw," she said.
The 48-year-old actress admits that it is somewhat of a natural progression, following her years playing the fashion icon, reported E! online.

"Because I got to play that role, I wore a lot of shoes and by default I learned an enormous amount. It's hard to walk away from that," she said.
Her new SJP range will also include handbags and trenches.
"We're putting new colors together that people don't typically do, just beautiful combinations that you wish existed in your closet. And in terms of bags, thinking about that period of the seventies into the eighties, what those women were carrying, taking away the bells and the whistles and hardware and really making it about the bag," she added.
SJP will hit stores next year.
