Himachal Pradesh today experienced scattered rainfall, leading to a drop in maximum temperature.
The MeT office said day temperatures dropped by three to five degrees in most places. Several areas were also hit by squall.
Thetourist resort ofManali recorded 16 mm of rains whileBhuntarand Bajaura 13 mm each followed by Dalhousie 8 mm, Seobagh 4 mm and Shimla 2 mm of rains.

Strong winds, accompanied by showers, swept the region. The sky remained heavily overcast in Shimla and surrounding areas, it said.
Minimum temperatures rose marginally across the state and stayed close to normal.
The weatherman has warned of squall in some parts of lower and mid hills tomorrow and rains or snow in several places over the next two days.

Meanwhile, Chandigarh and its surrounding areas in Punjab and Haryana were hit by dust-storm followed by light rains today.
At some places, tree branches fell on roads while power supply was also disrupted in some areas.
The maximum temperatures today hovered in the range of 25-30 degrees Celsius at most places in the two states.
