School girl beaten up by principal

A Class I girl student was allegedly beaten up by her school principal for not completing her home work at Almaspur village under Newmandi police station here, police said today.

Deepak Kumar canned the child yesterday in the school.

The victim's father has lodged a complaint with police alleging that his daughter was beaten with a stick and seriously injured by the principal in the school yesterday, they said.
