Scindia mourns death of 15 persons in MP road accident

Congress Chief Whip in the Lok Sabha, Jyotiraditya Scindia today expressed grief over the death of 15 bus passengers in Hoshangabad district.

It was more tragic as the victims were returning from a marriage function, Scindia said in a statement.

He wished speedy recovery to those injured in the incident, it added.

At least 15 people, including seven women, were killed and 38 seriously injured today when the bus they were travelling in fell into a river from a bridge in the district.

The bus was carrying a marriage party.

The mishap took place this morning when it was on its way to Parasia from Indore.
