Select copra extends fall on subdued demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode prices extended its fall at the spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockist and retailers amidst ample arrivals from producing regions.

While, rest all other spices maintained a stable trend owing to lack of buying support.

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode fell by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 8,400 and Rs 8,300 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 8,500 and Rs 8,400.

Black pepper (per kg) 645/730 (645/730), ginger bleached (per kg) 235 (235), ginger unbleached (per kg) 255 (255), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 8,400 (8,500), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 8,300 (8,400), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 15,500 (15,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 10,500 (10,500).
