Select pulses led by moong drifted lower by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on muted demand from retailers.
However, masoor edged up on scattered enquiries.
Traders said subdued demand from retailers against sufficient stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions mainly led to decline in moong and a few other pulses prices.

In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local moved down by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,800-5,000 and Rs 5,300-5,500 per quintal respectively. Its dal dhoya local and best quality followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 5,900-6,400 and Rs 6,400-6,600 per quintal.
Gram declined by Rs 100 to Rs 5,500-6,600 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality lost Rs 200 each at Rs 6,700- 7,000 and Rs 7,100-7,200 per quintal respectively.
Kabuli gram small variety too eased to Rs 9,400-10,200 from last close of Rs 9,600-10,200 per quintal.
Besan Shaktibhog and Rajdhani quoted lower at Rs 2,650 each instead of Rs 2,700 each per 35 kg bag.
On the other hand, masoor small and bold edged higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,100-4,400 and Rs 4,150-4,500 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality went up by the same margin to Rs 4,600-5,100 and Rs 4,700-5,200 per quintal.
