Senior freedom fighter Kaveri Patil from Thane passes away

A senior freedom fighter from Thane district Kaveritai Patil passed away after a protracted illness, at the age of 90 years, early today at her residence her family members said.

Patil who leaves behind her son and daughter will be cremated at the Kalwa cremitorium tomorrow at 3 pm, they said.

Her body will be kept for paying tributes at the Kalwa school between 11 am and 2 am tomorrow.
