Seven killed, 4 injured in road accident in Nepal

Seven persons were killed and four others injured when their vehicle fell into a gorge in the western Nepal's Rukum district today, the police said.

The accident happened this afternoon when a jeep en route Dhaulapaira from Rukumkot skidded off and fell about 100 metres below the hilly road near Dharapani, they said.

Four persons died on the spot while three others during treatment at a hospital, they said, adding four persons, including the driver of the vehicle were critically injured and airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
