At least seven people were killed and 25 others, including 10 Indians were injured when a bus in which they were travelling veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge in�western Nepal today, police said.
The bus heading from Mahendranagar to Darchula district, 700 km west of Kathmandu, veered off 200 metres down the hilly road near Gokuleshwor village at around 6 am today, the Central Police News Room said.
According to local media reports, 10 Indians were also injured in the accident. However, the police are yet to identify the victims.
The injured are undergoing treatment at a primary health post at Gokuleshwor village in Darchula district. The critically injured have been moved to Pithauragarh area in India.
