Seven women rescued from prostitution

Seven women, allegedly involved in prostitution, have been rescued and sent to a government women home, police said.

On specific inputs, police raided a house in Pallikaranai yesterday and arrested a man identified as Suresh, a native of Shimoga district of Karnataka, a press release said.

They also rescued seven women from there and handed them over to a women's home in Chennai.
