Shah Rukh visits Kanpur, fans give cops a tough time

A huge crowd gathered to have a glimpse of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan who was in the city to thank his fans for the success of his new movie 'Happy New Year', giving a tough time to policemen in managing the fans.

Khan, along with other actors of the film, arrived in the evening here today.

Fans began pouring in hours before he was due to visit the two multiplexes in Sarvodya Nagar area and VIP road.

Police stopped the entry to the venues after they got packed with people and this enraged those who were unable to enter.
 

Enraged fans create ruckus outside the malls.

"Fans were so crazy to have a glimpse of Shah Rukh that police had a tough time in controlling them," SP West Harish Chandra said.
