AICC general secretary Sushil Kumar Shinde, who has recently taken over as in-charge of party affairs in Himachal Pradesh, arrived here today.
Shinde will be meeting the members of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC), district party presidents and other senior leaders during his stay, the party said.
He will also hold separate meetings with the MLAs to iron out differences between Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and HPCC president Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.

On his arrival, a section of party workers shouted slogans against the HPCC chief.
Shinde, however, said that such things keep happening but he was confident that the party will contest the assembly elections unitedly and return to power.
