The shooting of new Malayalam film 'Goonda', directed by debutant Salimbaba, will begin on September 12.
"It will be an action family entertainer," Salimbaba, said. There will not be any scene showing smoking and drinking in the film, he said.
The story revolves around five youngsters, who become criminals under various circumstances.
The film will have veteran actor late Thilakan's son Shibu Thilakan, Kuthiravattom pappu's son Binu Pappu, Machan Varghese's son Robin Machan, Stunt Master 'Mafia' Sasi's son Sandep Sasi, 'Spadikom' George's son AjoGeorge and Karate Master Dileep's son Diljit Dileep, in the lead roles.
Other actors include Tini Tom, Sunilsukhada, 'Spadikom' George, Indrans, Mamukoya, Sneha and Kulappully Leela.
The film is expected to hit the screens by first week of December. It will be shot in Kozhikode and Bangalore.
This will probably be the first time that so many children of actors are featuring in a film.
Shibu Thilakan said he was playing a strong negative character in the film.
The script is by V P Mohammed and lyrics Dinnath Puthencherry. The music has been composed by Sajan K Ram.
