The city witnessed short spells of rain today, bringing respite from heat wave conditions.
A maximum temperature of 33.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in the city and the minimum was 27.5 degrees, MeT officials said.
During the day, short spells of showers were recorded as clouds played hide and seek with the sun.
The weatherman said the sky will remain cloudy tomorrow and moderate rainfall may be witnessed in some parts of the city.
