Siddeek Ahmed chosen for P V Sami memorial award

Noted industrialist and philanthropist Dr Siddeek Ahmed has been chosen for the P V Sami Memorial Industrial socio-cultural award for this year.

Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will on Sept 1 present the award to Ahmed, who is being honoured for his contribution to industry and public service.

The award instituted by the P V Sami Memorial Trust and carrying a plaque, citation and shawl, will be conferred as part of the annual commomeration event in memory of renowned industrialist and veteran freedom fighter P V Sami, a release from trust said.

Dr Siddeek Ahmed is the Chairman and Managing Director of Saudi Arabia-based leading business conglomerate Eram Group of Companies.
