Six persons including a married woman have been arrested in connection with a twin murder case in Sunped village here, police said today.
The incident took place on Sunday evening when one Deshraj was stopped by a group of four person, who first informed him about the recovery of his nephew Jogendra's mobile phone, which he had lost earlier and then threw it in a drain, police said.
Deshraj was soon joined by Jogendra and others and a quarrel ensued between the two sides, with more people joining in armed with sticks and sharp weapons.
The two sides attacked each other and the injured were later sent to a hospital where Indraj (37) and Mohanlal (35) succumbed, police said, adding an FIR has been lodged and six persons have been arrested in this connection.
