Six held with weapons and explosives

Acting on a tip off, the police raided an illicit mining site in Baraiabagh locality and arrested six persons with 20,000 detonators, two pistols, over two dozen live ammunition, besides tractors and JCB machines used for digging stone chips and transportation, Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj said.

Raids were going on in adjoining areas, he said.
