A six-year-old girl was crushed to death by a vehicle in south west Delhi's Kapashera area today.
The accident took place around 8 AM when the girl, identified as Batti, was playing at the service lane of Dwarka Link Road.
The vehicle was driven by a five-star hotel employee, Sachin Pawar, 24.
He has been arrested, said Surender Kumar, DCP (south-west).
Sachin was returning home in Ber Sarai after completing his shift when the accident occurred, police said.
He has been charged with rash driving and causing death by negligence. The body of the victim was sent for autopsy.
The girl's father was employed as a temporary worker with DDA.
