The son of a district consumer court judge was booked for allegedly thrashing the employees of an automobile showroom over delivery of a car, police said today.

A case of wrongful restraint and voluntarily causing hurt was registered against Adnan Ahmed in Badarpur area of South Delhi, police said today.

According to police, Adnan along with his friends barged into Ridhi Ford Showroom in Badarpur on Monday afternoon and thrashed the employees demanding the delivery of a Ford Eco sport car on priority basis.

The FIR was registered after Assistant Manager for the showroom, Amit Sharma, lodged a complaint with the police.

In his complaint, Sharma alleged that Ahmed had come to the showroom on an earlier occasion also and demanded delivery of the car. Following which the showroom employees wrote to the car company, but delivery of car could not materialise.

On Monday, Ahmed along with his friend Rahul Seth came once again at the showroom and demanded delivery of the car promptly.

When the employees expressed their limitations, Ahmed allegedly called more than a dozen men who thrashed Sharma and other employees.

The entire incident was captured in the CCTV cameras at the showroom.
