Speeding lorry kills one person, injures another

A speeding lorry rammed into labourers near Buragam village in Kanchili mandal on Wednesday, killing one person, the police said.

In the accident, one Dubba Appanna (55) died and a woman by the name Buddu Pydamma was injured after she was she was rushed to the Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences at Srikakulam.

The police has registered a case and taken the lorry driver into custody.
