Senior leader Subhash Chopra was today made chairman and party MLA Hasan Ahmed vice chairman of the Congress Campaign Committee for Delhi for the Lok Sabha polls.
All Union Ministers and party MPs as also MLAs from Delhi are members of the 65-member committee, besides AICC General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi and former MPs Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler.
Party leader Chattar Singh is convener of the committee.
Congress suffered a shock defeat in the Assembly polls in Delhi held a few months back which saw Shiela Dikshit, who was Chief Minister for 15 long years, loosing to Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Aadmi Party.
