'Suits' season 8 will happen: show creator

The contracts of the cast of "Suits" might be up when season 7 comes to an end, but series creator Aaron Korsh is feeling optimistic about the show's future.

"I'm always operating under the assumption that we'll be back next year," he told Deadline.

"It's never been wrong yet; obviously one day it will be wrong and when that time comes, I'll know well in advance."

The seventh season of the legal drama is currently on its mid-season break.
