Shares of Sun TV snapped yesterday's sharp losses by gaining over 4 per cent today on value-buying at lower levels.
The stock climbed 4.23 per cent to settle at Rs 290.70 on BSE. During the day, it surged 6.27 per cent to Rs 296.40.
At the NSE, it went up by 4.43 per cent to end the trade at Rs 291.

On the volume front, 5.97 lakh shares of the company changed hands at BSE and over 46 lakh shares were traded at the NSE during the day.
Shares of Sun TV had yesterday slumped nearly 22 per cent following reports that the Home Ministry has struck down a proposal to give security clearance to 33 television channels of the Kalanithi Maran-promoted firm.
Meanwhile, Sun Television Network had clarified that it has not received any communication from any ministry and all its channels continued to be on air.
