As part of the ambitious Swachh Bharat Mission, a two week-long cleanliness drive will be organised in all public and other autonomous institutions in Kerala from June 13.
Government employees would take a cleanliness pledge on June 13, marking the beginning of the drive, an official release said here.
The union ministry of urban development sent a letter to the state general administration department seeking implementing waste recycling system in all government institutions in the state to ensure scientific waste management, it said.
The letter also asked authorities to ensure cleanliness of surroundings and roof-tops of offices, the release added.
