The Telangana Government today announced Rs 25 lakh ex-gratia to the kin of Army jawan Santosh Kumar, from Navgambasti in Adilabad district, who died while discharging his duties in Siachen on December 24.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office, the amount will be handed over to Kumar's wide Naga Mani.
It said a job will be provided to one of the family members recommended by Kumar's wife.
