Takale helps Mahindra complete clean sweep in Dakshin Rally

Takale completed a run of 2,000 Kms over five days.

Takale, driving a Mahindra XUV 500, maintained his lead to clinch the crown with a total penalty time of one minute, 24 seconds, ahead of KP Karthick Maruti and co-driver Sankar Anand, also in a Mahindra vehicle.

Last year's winners, Bangalore's Satish Gopalakrishnan and Savera D'Souza in a Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, finished third with a penalty of two minutes, 02 seconds.

Felicitating the winners, Maruti Suzuki's spoksperson said, "It is heartening to see the enthusiasts back with more energy and fervor that drove them across multiple terrains and weather of south India. It strengthens our confidence to support further motorsport events in the future."
