Tamil Nadu Governor meets Rajnath

Tamil Nadu Governor C Vidyasagar Rao today met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him political situation in the southern state.

Rao briefed Singh about political and security situation in Tamil Nadu in the wake of death of Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, sources said.

The Governor sworn-in senior AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam the oath of office of the Chief Minister hours after Jayalalithaa's death on Monday night.

Rao is also the Governor of Maharashtra.
