Tata Power has prioritised four main regions for overseas play, including Africa and SAARC, and deployed resources to sync itself with the market dynamics and opportunities in these areas.
Besides, the company is evaluating various opportunities to provide management and technical advisory services in the distribution business.
"Showcasing its robustness and strong abilities, Tata Power has prioritised four key regions for international play -- Africa, South East Asia, the Middle East, SAARC (India Region)," Tata Power said in a statement.

"Tata Power is one of the prominent Indian power companies that's aspiring to build international presence," it said.
Commenting on its international presence, Tata Power's CEO and Managing Director Anil Sardana said, "We have created four regions - India and SAARC; Southeast Asia; Middle East-cum-Turkey; and Africa. We have deployed resources in each of these four regions to constantly update ourselves with the market dynamics and scout for opportunities."
"Our allocation strategy is simply to invest in the regions and in specific projects where we have all the clearances and are able to mitigate risks to achieve the threshold returns," he said.
"In addition, Tata Power continues to evaluate various opportunities for providing management and technical advisory services in distribution business including possible partnerships in shortlisted geographies of interest," he added.
