Teenager raped in UP village

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth of her village here, police said Tuesday.

The teenager had stepped out to attend nature's call in the fields when the youth forcibly took the girl to his house and allegedly raped her Monday night, SP (City) Dinesh Tripathi said.

The girl reached her house and informed family members following which a case was lodged.

Efforts are on to nab the youth identified as Mohit of Kudaiya village.

The victim has been sent for medical examination, the SP added.
