Temple festival postponed
?: The annual Bannariamman Kundam
festival, scheduled from March 23 to April 13, has been postponed due to coronavirus scare, Erode district Collector Kathiravan said on Wednesday.
Due to the COVID-19 panic, the Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday instructed the district administration to prevent large number of people from gathering as a part of an awareness on the coronavirus outbreak.
The temple festival is a popular festival in the southern part of the country as devotees from Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and parts of Andhra Pradesh attend the event.
