Alert cops today foiled a weapon-snatching bid by the militants in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
Two militants attacked the police personnel guarding the Wanpoh grid station in Kulgam district and tried to snatch the weapons of the cops posted there, a police official said.
He said the cops opened firing, forcing the militants to flee from the spot.
