'The Gambler' to have limited release on December 19

Mark Wahlberg-starrer crime drama film 'The Gambler' will be released in a limited run on December 19 this year.

Paramount Pictures plan to expand its release to nationwide on January 1, said The Hollywood Reporter.

Also starring Brie Larson, Michael K Williams and Jessica Lange, 'The Gambler' is based on the 1974 film by James Toback. William Monahan wrote the adapted script.
