Three boys drowned in pond

Three boys, in the age group of ten, drowned today while taking bath in a pond at a village near here, police said.

The boys, who did not know swimming, strayed deep into the waters in the pond at Theerthanipatti this morning, they said.

The bodies were recovered by the police.
