Three dead, 4 injured as car rams rickshaw in Medak district

Three people including a couple died on the spot and four others including three children were injured in a road accident in Medak district of Telangana this afternoon, police said.

A Toyota Qualis rammed the auto-rickshaw in which the victims were travelling near Mulug bus stop. Both the vehicles were heading towards Hyderabad.

The deceased were identified as Shankar Goud (38), his wife Renuka (32) and another person named Madhu (30).

Madhu's wife Rajeshwari and the couple's three children were injured. They were shifted to Gandhi Hospital, while bodies of the deceased were taken to the government hospital, Gajwel, for autopsy.
 

The victims were residents of Subash Nagar, Qutubullahpur, near Hyderabad.

Mulug police are conducting further probe.
