Three members of a family died after they fell into a septic tank in Mohammadpur Tanda village here, officials said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Raseedan (30), her husband Khursheed (35) and his brother Nizamuddin (22) fell into the tank, SDM C P Tewari said, adding they were rushed to the district hospital by the neighbours where they later died.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination, the SDM said, adding that financial help is being extended to the family as per the law.
