Three persons were arrested today for allegedly gang-raping a woman in a village under the Antichack Police Station area of Bihar's Bhagalpur district, a police officer said.
The incident happened last night when the three accused took an Anganwadi worker to an isolated place and gang-raped her, Kahalgaon DSP Neeraj Kumar said.
Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, the three accused identified as Komal Kumar(19), Akhilesh Yadav (20) and Babu Kumar (17) were arrested, he said, adding, that the trio has confessed to their crime during an interrogation.
The victim has been sent to a hospital for medical examination, Kumar said.
