Three injured in clashes over eve-teasing of women in UP

Three persons were injured stone pelting as clashed broke out between two groups over alleged eve-teasing of women in a marriage procession in Choda village here, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday at the village in Ratan Puri police station area. Some women of the marriage were eve-teased by a group of youths who started pelting stones after the other side objected, they said.

Three persons of the marriage party were injured and taken to a hospital. Investigation is underway, police said.
