Three killed, 25 injured as bus turns turtle

Three persons were killed and 25 others injured when the bus they were travelling in overturned near Gudalur in nearby Nilgiris district today.

The bus was proceeding to Bengaluru from Udhagamandalam when the driver lost control of the vehicle at Thavalamalai, late in the evening, the police said.

While three persons died on the spot, the injured were admitted to the Gudalur government hospital.
