Three persons were killed and four others gravely injured after a portion of dilapidated building collapsed in Chhang village in Sawai Madhopur district here, police said today.
According to Khandar police, people were gathered at a confectionery shop when the damaged portion of a house fell on them.
The collapse led to severe injuries to seven persons, who were rushed to hospital for treatment where three of them succumbed to injuries, they said.
The deceased have been identified as Abdul Hameed (50), Pappu Mali (40) and Ramswaroop Khatik (57).
One of the four injured has been referred to Jaipur owing to his critical condition.
