Three labourers electrocuted in Rajasthan, die

Three labourers were electrocuted to death today after a metal pipe they were using to pull out a hand pump touched a live wire in Madaripura village here, police said.

They died on the spot after the pipe touched a overhead wire, police said.

Villagers staged a protest demanding compensation for kin of the deceased, they said, adding they also demanded action against the officials concerned.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
