Three labourers were killed during construction work of a building in the IIT Kharagpur campus today, police said.
A senior police officer of West Midnapore district said, the three labourers fell from the bamboo scaffolding put on an under-construction building and died on the spot.
The construction work was being carried on by an agency which had got the sub-contract from the private contractor engaged by the institute, police said quoting preliminary reports.
