Three persons die in bike-truck collision

Atleast three persons today died when the bike they were riding on collided with a truck near K Nuagam in Odisha's Kandhamal district, a district police officer said.

While two youths died on the spot, another succumbed to injuries on the way to Balliguda hospital.

The three bike-borne persons were stated to be in drunken state while travelling from Sarangada to Balliguda, the officer said, adding the loaded truck was on its way to Phulbani from Balliguda.

None of the three could be identified so far.
