Three persons were injured when two groups of the same community clashed at Mukerian Mohalla area here tonight, police said.
"Three persons were injured in clash. There is nothing serious and situation is under control as both the groups belong to same community," DySP Chakrapani Tripathi said.
The trouble started when a youth entered a religious place in underwear tonight and some people objected to it. An altercation broke out between two groups which led to the clash, the police said.
As a precautionary measure police has been deployed in the area, the DySP added.
