Three persons killed in accident

Three persons were killed by a speeding truck at a village in Purnea district of Bihar today, a police officer said.

The incident took place at Gangli village on NH-31 when the truck ran over the three persons standing near a tree, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Manoj Kumar said.

The victims were identified as Akhilesh (18), Krishna Kumar Paswan (20) and Rasik Lal Paswan (50), he said.

The truck driver escaped from the spot with his vehicle, the SDPO said.
