Three policemen and a truck driver were killed when the jeep in which the cops were travelling collided with the truck in Khagaria district, police said today.
"Four persons including an assistant sub inspector, two homeguard jawans and a truck driver died on the spot following a head-on collision between the truck and a police jeep on NH 31 last night, superintendent of police Sailee said.
Meanwhile, in another accident in Muzaffarpur district, three persons died when a truck collided with a car on NH 57 near Gousai chowk, officer in-charge of Bochaha police station Shambhu Bhagat said.
Four persons were also injured in the accident and have been admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), he added.
